  1. There are many influential moments of the civil rights movement. They all influenced the changes necessary for equal rights. The boycott on buses was a major blow against the bus companies (one of the areas of life where segregation was very prevalent). I also believe the Little Rock Nine were super influential as they paved the way for all colored kids and really stated the integration trend. It is also hard to talk about the civil rights movement without mentioning the march on Washington. The march on Washington was the biggest protest of the movement and the event where Martin Luther King Jr. gave his famous “I Have a dream Speech”. I believe that all of these factors (along with others) were major influences in the Civil Rights Act. An Act that made discrimination illegal in many areas of life.

  2. I think that one of the most important things that happened in the Civil Rights movements was Martin Luther King's speech of "I have a dream." That was a big thing that took a lot of guts and willpower to want to do in front of so many people that contain both whites and blacks.
Another thing I think was important was when kids tried to go to school. Yes they got attacked and bullied, but it was a big and hard thing for them to do. They made history and they had a lot of perseverance I think to do something like that.
