Extra Credit:  Discuss what you to believe was the most important cause of WWII and why?

  1. I think that the biggest cause was the lasting affects from WWI. Nazi Germany was becoming a bigger and bigger threat to other countries causing more reasons for them to be on guard and be ready to fight. The bombing of Pearl Harbor was the main reason for the United States to be brought into the war. Japan bombed US territory causing them to join with the allies and fight against the axis powers.

  2. I think that the main cause of World War II was Adolf Hitler's territorial ambitions and his dreams of dominating Europe.

  3. The most important cause of WWII was definitely the effects coming from WWI. Japan bombed Pearl Harbor killing many innocent lives. Also the threat that Germany had on everyone else was just astonishing. Thus the bombing of Pearl Harbor caused the U.S to join the Allies.

  4. In my opinion propaganda was the most important and main cause of World War II. Propaganda is what glorified Hitler and his ways, causing the holocaust. Joseph Goebbels was the adviser to Hitlers campaigns and I believe was more influential to Nazi ways than Adolf Hitler himself. Hitler had the power, but J. Goebbels had the intelligence to make domination over Europe happen.

  5. I think that the biggest cause of WWII was Adolf Hitlers dictatorship over Germany that made the common goal for other countries either differ from their own or be the same. Basically Hitlers goals were widely unpopular and, even though some countries backed him for whatever reason, it was just something the rest of the world could not agree with which caused it to be a world war.
