EXTRA CREDIT: What cause or event do you think had the most effect in causing the American Revolution?

  2. I believe that the Intolerable Acts had the biggest effect on the colonists. These acts infuriated the colonists to the point of no return.

  3. The French and Indian War had the most effect in causing the American Revolution. THe British won the war, which made the French surrender their American land to the British which gave Britain control of America.

  5. I believe that the Intolerable acts had a big effect on the colonists and aggravated them in the American Revolution but ultimately I think that Thomas Paine's pamphlet, Common Sense, was the biggest effecting cause that pushed the colonists to declare independence.

  7. I think the Intolerable acts had the biggest effect on the colonists because it was laws passed by British parliament after the Boston tea party and they were meant to punish the colonists for throwing a large tea shipment into Boston Harbour.
