American History I

American History I has been discussing the abolition movement and the Presidency of Andrew Jackson.  When Jackson was finally elected in 1828 he claimed he was a "man of the people" because he was not from a privileged class of people.


EXTRA CREDIT: Discuss Jackson's claim as "Man of the People" and the reasons for your analysis.
