American History I classes have been discussing the events and causes leading up to the American Revolution. Also, we have discussed the various advantages that both the British and the Colonists had in this conflict.
EXTRA CREDIT: Discuss what advantage or disadvantage determined the outcome of the American Revolution. In other words, why did the colonists win or the British lose?
The British lost because their was too much Ocean between their supply lines in order to get the redcoats the materiel that they needed.

The colonist won because they had help from the French. They were not winning until they had the militia start attacking the redcoats. They militia hid in tall grass and in the trees so that they were not in the open and had more protection that way. The British lost because their backup was on its way but did not get there in time. The French got there with ships and were firing cannons at what little British was left. The colonist were very happy and very that the French were there to help them win the war.
