AHII
Today we discussed the concept of the military industrial complex as mentioned in Ike's farewell speech and its significance. The relationship between the pursuit of the inflated bottom line and elections and military engagements in foreign countries was discussed. Afterwards we hit the pause button and took time to make sure everyone gets caught up with their notes on the Cold War. Thursday we will return to our discussion and the JFK and LBJ role in the Cold War.
