Today we discussed how the French and Indian War was a cause of the American Revolution. Essentially we discussed that the British increased their control over the colonists by increasing taxes to pay for the war and by passing other legislation whose intent was to keep the colonists a part of their colonialism policy. We also watched part of "The Patriot".
