AHI
In pages 81-86 of text we discussed two major causes to the American Revolution: British policies and colonial resistance. Some of the policies we discussed included the Townshend Acts, the Quartering Act, the Intolerable Acts, writs of assistance, and the Stamp Act. We paid particular attention to how the Stamp Act was different and why it inflamed colonists. Examples of colonial resistance included the Sons of Liberty, Stamp Act Congress & Resolves, Boston Tea Party, and the boycotting of British goods.
